The presentation alone was worth the $30!!
I almost wanted to leave it on display instead ofeating it but... I had to taste it!!
The Swallow/ Plantain Fufu was ON POINT . The Efo Elegusi is a but spicy so if you dont like pepper isuffest you stay away. BUT im Caribbean so.. this was tasty and done oh so right!!
It comes with two pieces of fufu but I ordered an extra side to eat with my oxtail later. GLAD I DID!!
Finally found a good African spot that will deliver to my house !!!

The Efo Riro with assorted meat and pounded yam and the Smokey Jollof Rice with chicken and plantain are delicious and full of flavor. Everything is well-seasoned without being overly salted. And the food was packaged with care to stay piping hot upon delivery. Very satisfying and the portion sizes are plentiful.

Hands down BEST egusi dish, the portion and presentation is well worth the price , the food is rich in flavor and will fill you up. The package and food is fresh and hot upon delivery. Chef John is very responsive . Definitely will order again

Ok so portions are huge!! This is my second time and I got the plantain porridge baby this is meant to share, perfect amount of spice and well seasoned. The Raga-Turkey with roasted plantain was a hit and again this can be shared as well. The Gizdodo with white rice was my least favorite. The meat wasn't seasoned and though the sauce was ok the gizzard still needed to be seasoned

So you get a great portion size, lots of plantain but the plantain wasn't fully roasted needed a little more cook time. The pepper sauce was good. The Turkey tasted like smoked turkey that he added seasoning to so don't expect fresh turkey. Also it's an apartment so don't be shocked when you show up.
