the flavor of the actual meat is delicious and everything is cooked well. the platter also came with a portion of rice in a separate container. the only disappointment is the portion of meat :( you can see how sad it looks. $29 for 9 pieces of meat doesn't sound bad until you see the size of those pieces :( i recommend the food for taste but it is pricey for what you get. yummy but feels incomplete

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Chick N’ Chick in Bergenfield, and I’m thrilled to say it was a fantastic experience! This spot is perfect for anyone craving delicious Korean-inspired dishes.
First, the tteokbokki was exceptional—just the right amount of spice, with chewy rice cakes and a savory sauce that had a nice balance of heat and sweetness. It’s comfort food done right!
As for the chicken, I tried both the crispy regular chicken and the soy garlic chicken, and they did not disappoint. The crispy chicken had a perfectly golden crunch on the outside, while staying juicy and flavorful inside—classic and satisfying. The soy garlic chicken, on the other hand, had this addictive glaze that was savory, sweet, and just slightly garlicky—easily one of the best versions I’ve had.
The portions were generous, and everything was fresh and well-prepared. The staff were friendly and attentive, adding to the overall positive experience.
Chick N’ Chick has definitely earned a spot on my list of go-to places for Korean-style fried chicken. If you’re in Bergenfield and looking for a meal that’s both comforting and flavorful, this is the place to be! Highly recommend!

Churros were awful, tasted like they were fried in old dirty oil and were filled with jelly and vanilla pudding, that was not explained on the menu, boba tea were too sweet even after requested 50% sweet. Maybe if they weren't so sweet they would taste better. We could not eat any of it. Im sorry!, I was hoping for a good experience from this establishment but I feel they lack experience and commitment to the art of cooking. I would not order again from here. That was $53 dollars straight to the garbage

I got the Cream Cheese Tteokbokki (크림치즈 떡볶이). It doesn't even look like the picture advertised. Too much cheese and not enough sauce. Didn't really have any flavor.
Coconut Milk Tea was good.
