I’ve been buying from Chino Rico for about 3 years to get my Chinese-Puerto Rican food fix, but over the past six months (maybe longer), the quality has been steadily dropping. I’ve even tried ordering from their new restaurant, but the experience has been the same.
Today I ordered the boneless ribs combination, and this might be the last time I order from here. The ribs had more fat than meat, and the portion size has noticeably decreased while the prices keep going up. Ever since they started focusing on smoothies and teas, the food side of the business has gone downhill. The smoothies I’ve tried taste like they were made with tap water, which has a horrible taste and just ruins the drink.
If you’re from Puerto Rico and looking for decent Chinese food like back home, sadly, this place just isn’t it anymore.

The spare ribs are delicious it's my fav thing to order. The portions for the combos are really big, enough for two people.

The House Special Lo Mein had no meat it was all noodles and 2 pieces of brocolli
The Beef Broccoli Combo was chicken not beef and the house special fried rices tasted horrible like it was made with old oil or something. I could not eat it.

Egg drop soup was excellent - hot and flavorful. Rangoons were a little over-fried but not so much that they weren't still enjoyable to eat. Sesame chicken combo - wasn't expecting the fries, which weren't seasoned and added nothing to the dish. But the chicken itself was well cooked and the sauce was good. Fried rice was excellent.
