• 26-10-20I tried the Arroz con pollo today. It was good, but the chicken was a chicken leg. I don't like chicken on the bone IN my meals as I'm visually impaired and its to hard to see and cut around bones.I wish the description had stated it was so...
But I also got the Culantro Bowl and it was amazing.
The best thing about their Bowl is that there's no "salad" toppings on it so it reheats very well to! You can't do that with the middle eastern bowls as you don't want cooked cucumbers and lettuce and such - Yuck. But not an issue here. I love the lime in it as it pairs with the red onions and red peppers well. And I can't tell ya how they cook the chicken in it but I can tell you that it's very tender and flavorful and they give you enough. It's a very well rounded, well put together Bowl that is fresh and flavorful and deliciously satisfying. Highly recommend!
OH! You will see garlic sauce on the menu. This isn't the middle eastern garlic, it's Culantro garlic and its unique and delicious.

• 26-10-13Yummy! 1st time ordering and my belly is happy. Very flavorful bowl! Very Fresh! I will definitely order again! One of the best bowls I've ever tried and just about everyone has a bowl now. This one is definitely worth trying. Great deal with buy one get one too! Can't beat it with a stick!

• 24-12-22The amount of garlic sauce on the bowl was very heavy and there was very little chicken. Very pricey for the small amount of food. The side of rice was good, but, over 5$ for a side of rice? The chimichurri was almost too salty to eat, even when mixed up with the rice. order did arrive quickly.

I typically get their food via delivery but I love their food so much that I'm going to visit the restaurant in person and try some of their other dishes beyond the Culantro Bowl and their awesome Maduros Frito(fried plantains) that I keep getting because they're just too good to try anything else; that's Culantro's one true Achilles' Heel: they're so good that you're likely to fall in love with the Culantro Bowl and Maduros Frito and never try anything else.
The shame is mine; so I'll force myself to try something else.
The ingredients are extremely fresh and high quality, everything is delicious and presented extremely well.
Culantro is one of my favorite restaurants of any type, in any area of Michigan.
To the owners, operators and staff: kudos--
I shamelessly admit to being a fanboy of your awesome restaurant, which is a direct reflection of each one of you.

• 25-03-23Alfajores was good but didn't realize it's only one cookie for $6. Carnipapas was delicious. tender steak. Chicha Morada was soooo good. perfect sweetness and flavor
