My favorite Taqueria in San Diego. Unfortunately they don't have my favorite burrito "The Cali Loco" on DoorDash but that's okay because the rest of their menu is fire. Simple carne asada burrito.. juicy, flavorful and big portion

Are you kidding me?! The universe is cruel to have dropped the perfect taco shop so far from my house.
I tried the rolled tacos and carnitas quesadilla, both were delicious! And the green salsa...so fricken good. Rolled tacos: flavorful, perfectly cooked, not too greasy. Quesadilla: same! The meat was tender and tasty.
I will look forward to visits to my dentist office now that I know delicious food is next door. :)

I ordered the Chile Relleno combo.
Tasty, arrived still warm and the
presentation was nice. Also ordered
the carne asada chimichanga. It was
HUGE!! Also tasty but could have
used a little more meat. A lot of
tortilla. Order also came with a little
bag of complementary corn chips
to eat with beans in combo or salsa.

We ordered a variety of food. The rolled tacos were soft, and the beef was really good. I wish they had more cheese on top, but I would get these again. The Rice and Beans were lacking some flavor- after we added more salt i enjoyed them more. The Jamaica was good, not super sweet like a lot of places. The conga burrito was really good, it was lacking the salt in the beans, otherwise it would have been an A+. The salsas did not dissapoint and were super spicy. The Rancheros burrito will get again, it did not dissapoint if you like spicy. The Al pastor tacos were just okay, needed more seasoning/flavor. Would not get again. Overall, good food for the prices. Would try some more options next time, and will come again. I do wish that some of the items on the menu had descriptions, like the del mar or the rancheros burrito.

Such a great California Burrito. The carne is so delicious! guacamole and sour cream with every bite! super filling and fresh! definitely ordering again!
