• 24-06-14This Non-Veg Biryani (Lamb, Goat, Chicken, Shrimp) is quite simply the richest, most authentic oniony and well spiced biryani in Portland and that includes the fancy spots. I've been to them all. Moreover, cooked by Indian immigrants and the store owner has been a fixture of the community for about a decade before the door opened here. I believe the name of the restaurant translates roughly to "food is love" and I think you're gonna feel that if you try it for yourself.

• 25-06-15Spicy is just that, thank you it was perfect.
The flavors here are deep and authentic, rich and bold. The Chicken Boti was so tender and moist (5 stars!) the Tikka Masala rich and creamy and very spicy just as ordered, one of the best in the city.

• 23-11-08Overall great flavors and I'm glad I ordered the assortment of dishes I did! The only disappointment was the butter chicken, which just did not have enough flavor or heat and was a tad on the sweet side for me. The Aloo Tikki Chaat and Chili Paneer were both fantastic though and the best Indian dishes I've had so far in Portland.

• 25-10-12The food didn't taste bad, per se, but it didn't taste like Indian food. I love Indian food for the spices and flavors and the butter chicken was extremely lacking, as was the garlic that was supposed to be on the garlic naan. Disappointed. Portion size and price was fine.

• 25-11-20Always delicious and you can't go wrong with anything, but branch out from the garlic naan and butter chicken (even though they're great). Try the cheesy naans (they're all so good) and, if you like spice, some lamb vindaloo.
