Fourth and last time ordering from here. To spend over $50 and receive a large pre-coleslaw(lacking any moisture and/or seasonings), large beans that are 1/3 bean juice, and actually 1/4 lb of brisket once you wipe off the barbecue sauce and realize why that peice tasted weird was because it was mostly fat.

Deke's never disappoints. They may not use heritage meats like Fette Sau, but they're half the price. I guess I should ask for fatty brisket, as it can be dry otherwise, but ribs and chicken (even the breast) are super-moist. Sides are always flavorful. Add this is REAL smoked in-house BBQ. For the price, it's the best food bargain out there.

was driving in the area I made a pit stop and purchased the Fish and Chips and *Whole* BBQ Chicken . It was great service fries hot and crisy fish was a great portion wish i would of requested tartersauce the *Whole* BBQ Chicken wash juicy i will be returning

The meat is tender asf  portions are great size from large sides to the full rack of ribs and a whole chicken for $11 is legendary arguably I would say I feel like they use the same seasonings for the meat for the sides as well . I actually really liked the potato salad. I didn't really care for the baked beans and collard greens.  Like why are the beans and collard greens tangy they supposed to be savory not tangy I don't know something missing The collards I think got vinegar in them and the baked beans they're just off contrary to my opinion my boyfriend loved all the sides.  The cornbread is very soft yummy as well and my food got here actually really fast. I would definitely order again minus the two sides I mentioned earlier maybe add a BAKED mac & cheese to the menu
