This time I tried the Veggie sandwich and it is great! I love the lemon vinegarette especially! Everything I've gotten here is great! House Iced Tea has a floral flavor so it doesn't need sugar as much in my opinion.

I'm really disappointed in my favorite DD restaurant. I love the Derb and especially the Parisian sandwich. But the prices after reopening are ludicrous. The sandwich is delicious, but small. The side salad is good, but simple. Those two items cost $18.50 before taxes (same price if you just get chips). Add a root beer, DoorDash fees, and tip, and I'm paying just under $30. They have St. Michael's cake, which is delicious, too, but nearly $10 for a slice. Y'all are nuts.

I'm a die hard derby deli fan and do highly recommend you try it.
On the flip side, I just ordered my favorite sandwich, the honey almond chicken salad sandwich, and am highly disappointed for the first time ever. I won't let this one bad experience ruin it for me though but felt I should share so hopefully they'll do better for the next customer. (Normally they load it with chicken salad but it almost feels like they ran out and this was all they had left. This is how it showed up today. Not worth the $17 I paid)

I thought that nearly $19 for a sandwich was ridiculous, but I've been wanting to try it ... Best. Reuben. Ever. Holy smokes, it was incredibly generous, fresh, tasty, HOT, and phenomenal. 10/10 would order again.

Food did not disappoint! The Asian Chicken Wrap was very delicious and filling. The French onion soup that I got with it was okay, I prefer softer onions in my French onion but everyone makes it differently. The House Iced Tea was amazing! Strong orange pekoe flavors. Truly the perfect lunch order.
