I ordered dosa, idli, vada, chutneys, and sambar from Dosa Box. Everything was very tasty. The dosa was nice and crispy, idli was soft, and vada was crunchy. The chutneys were fresh and the sambar was delicious. I really liked the food and will order again.

I recently visited Dosa box in San Mateo and tried their pulao — and I must say, it was absolutely outstanding. The rice was perfectly cooked, each grain separate yet tender, and infused with rich, aromatic spices that created a warm, comforting flavor. The blend of ingredients — from the fresh vegetables/meat to the subtle use of saffron and whole spices — showed true culinary skill.
What really stood out was how balanced the dish was: not too oily, not too spicy, just a beautifully crafted pulao that lets the ingredients shine. It’s clear the kitchen takes pride in quality and authenticity.
If you’re a fan of flavorful, fragrant rice dishes, this pulao is a must-try. Highly recommended!

Ordered Mysore Masala Dosa – perfectly cooked to a golden-brown perfection! It was served with a flavorful peanut chutney and a tangy tomato pickle. Absolutely delicious!
