Wow! Hunan dishes with the proper ingredients and actually spiced as expected! Granted, many dishes are spicy hot compared what many are accustomed to, but to have the flavor and textures shining through the heat is a welcome relief to the normal "mundaneness" of dishes that are just spicy hot! In the last order of 脆白椒炒肉末, Stir Fried Minced Pork with Crispy Pepper, one still had the pork as the star of the dish -- not just the heat and texture of the dish.

This place feels like a scam, worst in food quality. I ordered braised boned chicken, guess what, I got a full bowl of Jalapeños and chicken bones with no meat on it and this dish priced $30! Seriously?!

I often dine in at the restaurant and the food always tastes great. But today I ordered takeout for the first time, and I’m not sure if it’s even from the same place—it was completely different. The pork head and vermicelli dish was terrible. The meat tasted really fishy and bland. I took one bite and threw the whole thing away.
