I hate fast food except el pollo loco; especially this Santa Monica location. It's always hot and fresh and handled with care. With great deals as well; I highly recommend for something fast and affordable that's also delicious.

We had the 10 piece family dinner and the chicken was perfectly cooked and moist. Everything I arrived extremely well packed and therefore stayed warm. But the corn and the flour tortillas arrived warm and fresh. The package was completely sealed at the top which kept in the warmth. The sidestreet hard work corn and pencils and they were good.  Based on other reviews it sounds like the rice is good too.
I prefer a little more spice but the rest of the family liked the fact that it wasn't spicy or noiceably breaded at all (unlike the case with KFC). For "fast food" thischecks all the boxes and is a quality chicken that just as good as what you would get at a white tablecloth restaurant.  This was our first experience with pollo loco but we will be going back again.

This store is one of the best managed El Pollo Loco restaurants I have ever enjoyed. The food is always fresh, the staff is always friendly and professional, and everything arrives quickly and still piping hot.
