The Salsa Fresca (Medium) Fresca was very fresh and flavorful. The Pinto Beans were good but not a good value. Over $6 for a small cup of beans.

barely put beans or rice a small dollop of sour cream with a whole bunch of lettuce.. so it was dry. constantly inconsistent with how they make the Classic Tostada. mornings they always put 10x more lettuce then anything else..

Chicken was weird tastin it was cold in some spots like it was never grilled just boiled.. and had some grilled smaller pieces. Just weird and the tortilla shell was almost burnt and you could taste the greasy texture. Lettuce wilted. Not worth the money.
These churros taste hollow and like it was just a tortilla. Again greasy texture.

The chicken was dry and flavorless. The Mac and cheese tasted worse than Kraft, much worse. I didn't bother trying anything else. I remember when this place was good.

We ordered 2 4pc Half Chicken Meals which come with either all white meat or all dark. We ordered white for both. It was later at night (after 8:30), but it was the weekend, so we were willing to wait if we had to. Our food came on time (we live less than two miles), but what we got wasn't what we ordered. My husband's meal was fine--2 breasts, 2 wings, the sides he wanted. He only got 2 corn totillas, (the ad said 4), but he could live with it. MY order didn't come with white meat--instead there were 2 scrawny pieces of dark--a tiny chicken leg and thigh. The meat was greasy and had a lot of bones. The sides I Ordered were mashed potatoes with gravy, and corn. The potatoes were good. The corn I ordered had become-- Mac and Cheese? I don't Eat mac and cheese! Just looking at it turns my stomach. And no tortillas at all (I wanted flour).
So, I paid over $20 for a meal that was less than half there and was wrong, anyay. Goodby, forever, El Pollo Loco!
