This is my favorite place for authentic Mexican food! I love it and I usually get the same dishes. This time I didn't get the ceviche but it's to die for trust me! I'll be getting the ceviche this weekend!

El Sarape has been a family favorite for years now, we always get the Arriba Chihuahua Nachos and Guacamole! So delicious and consistent. A personal favorite is the chicken mole or Filete Toluca (8 oz)

A thoroughly disappointing meal, particularly given the price. The Tuna Tartare was baffling... it tasted like it was made using canned tuna. Stringy, gristle-ly canned tuna (I didn't eve know that was possible). The Enchiladas (I got chicken with verde sauce, my go-to to evaluate a new Mexican restaurant) had dry, overcooked chicken. The Filete Toluca (8 oz) wasn't horrible, but it wasn't anything special. The sauce was good. But the meat itself was underseasoned. At least the refried beans and rice were reasonably good.
