We keep coming back for more. Empire Buffet consistantly gets our orders correct and the food itself is really good. My wife loves the General Tao's chicken and I'm partial to the sweet and sour. The portions are big enough there are always leftovers for tomorrow.

I love their hot and sour soup. So good and perfectly balanced. Better than other places. Tried the black pepper shrimp and will order again. A few Sautéed onion and green peppers added to the dish. Generous portions too.

We have ordered from Empire before. This time, ( contrary to previous kinda skimpy servings) the servings were generous. We both ordered general Tso chicken but very distinctly got orange chicken. When I called to let them know, the lady who answered the phone said, "orange chicken and general tso chicken are the same, just notice the red pepper flakes". I advised her they were not the same, hence the different names, and I have had the general tso before from them ( FYI VERY mild-I always have to add garlic chili sauce) but she stuck to her story and told me to call Door Dash, as she "had to get back to work."
Door Dash was very polite and helpful making it right. But I won't be ordering from
Empire Buffet again. Not that I can't handle a mistake, I just did not like the way I was spoken to when I called about the mistake.a simple apology & then she could have directed me elsewhere if that is how the handle things.)
Also note: the tiny little spring rolls (2) (maybe 2" long) were way over priced. All the times we have ordered from them we have never gotten a fortune cookie or a packet of hot mustard or chili sauce, or the option to request them.
Other than that, pretty average Chinese food. Not bad. A bit too sweet. But a lot of ppl like that. The 3 entrees and a side went from 13.99 (a pretty good deal) to 17.99 recently, (plus $4 extra if one of your choices is shrimp) which I guess is the result of the higher cost of everything under the current economy.

Was a bit disappointed... ordered no entrees. human pork.
Said dry prep and was so full of brown sauce that it leaked all over the other items. WhT a mess over all the boxes and the bag.
Dry prep should mean spices and no brown sweet gravy. I have to rinse it before to eat it. Why is sugar in the "Savory" dishes.
In addition, neither of the two entrees arrived w steamed rice.
Empire Box meal was the only great success. Exactly as anticipated.
I have had from from here dozens of times. Hopefully this is an off day.

The food was delicious! The sweet & sour chicken was nice and crunchy in a good way. It wasn't fried to smithereens. I wasn't happy with the sweet and sour sauce, I thought it would have been thicker!! The sweet donuts(10) are warm and thick and all kinds of goodness. I'm totally satisfied with my order aside from the thin sauce.
