what can I say??? first time order.
I have had many maylasian, Thai restaurant meals. yahoo Waterford West still exceeds all in Logan for years. authentic is the word.
ok. what I ordered today.
Pad Thai... the chicken used, for an evening order, was clearly from the shift before or day before. it was dry and I'm not fussy. but gee wiz. I spat it out. noodle to vegetable ratio was poor. . flavour hmmmm. average. no spice, even though requested medium spice. it tasted like sweet soy. could I cook this myself, yes. even if I used defrosted chicken. it was like eating hours old kebab chicken in a $20 plus meal.
Mongolian dish. again. first 2 pieces of beef. I chewed and chewed. spat them out, unswallowable. flavour, asked for medium spice. spice level. zero. i paid for extra vegetables, lets see, 6 x 1/4 of zucchini, and almost same in capsicum. again, tasted like sweet soy is their main ingredient.
coconut rice... winner over both mains.

The fried rice was dry and it looked like it was covered in soy sauce , only got 3 small prawns and nothing else

Special fried rice spot on just what I was craving, only thing I have to say is one of our drinks were warm. And the Mongolian beef was a little too watery but overall pretty good considering they were closing.

The saty sauce was flavourless and very thin and runny, like water!!
Not the best i have had from Far East.
