In my Mom's words, "The Steak 'n Cheese sub was really good! Bread (wheat) & veggies were fresh! Great meat to cheese & veggie ratio ... No complaints!

No sautéed peppers. Onions were piled on deep. It was like an onion sandwich. Very little meat to be found, but what was found wasn't good. Texture of the meat and cheese was terrible. This is our 2nd attempt at firehouse subs and this time was no better. Won't try again. Bummer.

I always get the Firehouse Meatball® and I love it. I think Firehouse Subs is leagues better than Subway. I also love that they always give you a pickle on the side and love the option that I can get this sandwich on garlic bread which is what I did.

The salad was fine. Regular small house salad except with shredded lettuce which made it hard to eat, the meatball sandwich was so-so. I love their Italian sandwich but I thought id try another. I was not as impressed.

This is loaded down with lettuce and has huge rings of onion there is no spice and it just falls everywhere when you eat it... it's almost as if the bread wasn't even toasted. Would not order again and there are little to no jalapeños. The flavor is just not there
