Flores is by far my favorite sit down Mexican restaurant in San Mateo. Their chips and salsa are always perfect, the Fresa Margarita is amazing, and all their food is consistently delicious! I highly recommend Flores to anyone.

I used to like Flores but this time the food was not as good: the ARRACHERA FAJITAS was different, the CHILE RELLENO bland. And while SMALL CARNITAS was hold they stopped offering larger version that was good for several people.

CARNE TACOS SO GOOD. Chicken Tinga i found bones in. Wouldnt recommend the tinga unless they can remove the bones. havent tried anything else other than that and the guac, which was good but for $13 they give you a small amount.

I ordered from this restaurant specifically for POZOLE. The description says "pork and hominy" soup but what I received is clearly chicken. I had to go back and check the description again. Pork is usually the meat used in pozole. The verde broth was also not very flavorful. The little SOPES DE FRIJOL weren't bad but not one of the better sopes I had.
