Chicken tenders were extremely tough and dry. Roll was dry. Greens are bland and oily. The sweet tea was good, the Gris Gris sauce was good but the cake was also dry. Terrible quality. The portion size was worth the price. It's seemed somewhat fresh. If I order from here again I would try completely different items.

Being a fried chicken lover and living in Houston over 30 years how have I never eaten here?
I saw Frenchy's on Eat Like A Local and I had to try it.
Absolutely delicious crunchy and seasoned perfectly!
Very close to my mother and my Memaw's home fried chicken. Will I fry chicken ever again?

I pretty much made my own sampler plate so I could taste everything since I'm not in Houston very often. I got the 2 PC with thigh and wing and dirty rice. The Fish (3) Boudin BallsCollard Greens - Regular Frenchy Fries - Regular. The Boudin balls stood out the most, very flavorful and crispy. The Fish was nicely fried and the fries were nice and salty and crunchy. The chicken tasted good but not necessarily the best fried chicken I've ever had. I didn't care for the dirty rice, I expected it to be more flavorful. The collards were ok, it appeared to be meat in them but they were not very flavorful. Overall I was very pleased with the food and I will be back if I come to Houson again.

The crust is crispy and thin, chicken is so tender and lean! Such great fried chicken!!! The red beans and rice are so delicious and authentic!!!
