Welcome to FRYBABY! We are a Korean-American fried chicken food cart serving double-fried gluten free chicken and southern-inspired Korean sides.
First of all, if you go into this thinking the Three Drumsticks will be like the Korean fried chicken you're used to, you will not be prepared for the reality of them. They're absolutely HUGE, and the skin is crispy in a distinctly Southern way. The gochujang sauce is really rich and flavorful, too. And yes, don't worry, it comes with pickled radish like all good KFC should.
At the other corners of the flavor spectrum, there's the Smashed Cucumber Salad, which is light and refreshing, and the Garlic Butter Rice, which is peak comfort food (but does, in my opinion, definitely benefit from hot sauce). I think the kimchi mac could definitely qualify as comfort food, too, if that's your vibe, but I'm not really sure how I feel about it. It's not BAD, just a little strange.
Overall, this is really excellent fusion food, and would probably taste even better in the summer.

The drumsticks were huge! Some people like that, it was a bit much for me. Kimchi Mac and cheese is really good, could use a bit more cheese. Cucumbers were good and spicy. Garlic butter rice was disappointing

I had been wanting to try Frybaby since I read an article about it on Eater Portland. I was not disappointed and the hype is real!! The Three Drumsticks had the perfect crunch and the chicken was still wonderfully tender and juicy on the inside. I opted for the snow cheese and wished I had it in condiment jar form — I would put that on everything! The Garlic Butter Rice was garlicky enough, and complimented the meal extremely well along with the Smashed Cucumber Salad. Washed it all down with Milkis Original and was a happy camper. Satisfying, filling, and a must try!! Going back for the gochujang version of the drumsticks, hopefully at the cart next time!

We've had cheese wings from a couple of places. This is the worst we have had. Mostly cuz they had fried skin over chicken. Under seasoned. 2x the cost of bb.q which offers double the amount of cheese wings with half the price. Way better tasting. The chicken bone broke and I got chicken bone pieces all in my mouth at frybaby

You want crunchy fried chicken? Look no further. My fav is the 3 Three Drumsticks which I think has the most bang for your buck.
