Like a previous review says, there is nothing that compares to the quality of this Gelato! The simple flavors are bursting with flavor. My favorite is chestnut, when it's there, and I lean on almond and dark chocolate the other times. This place is a go-to for a high-quality dessert cake in case you ever have to pop in and grab one for a birthday dinner party!

Thank you for bringing Italy to NYC, the taste and quality of ingredients are unmatched! The Torta Nera – Italian Chocolate Cake is my of my favorite, simple perfection...moist fresh chocolate cake...think box cake but actually made fresh from scratch flavor is heavenly! This evening we also tried for the first time Slice Torta Leggera (Lactose-free) and it was delicious vanilla mousse with raspberry it was excellent...the flavors are true vanilla and real raspberry. Gentile is truly a gem and of course we will be ordering again!

Nothing compares to the quality and taste of the varied menu items that Gentile makes...
The Cornetti are fabulous and taste just like they do in Italy....just close your eyes! They are light and flakey with a little crunch...and the creama is delicate and perfectly spread throughout the airy dough. The semifreddi are also just like Italy....the chocolate and cafe compliment perfectly....we are so lucky to have them around the block from us!
