The best tasting Fried Fish & Fried Chicken out that I've ever had. I always enjoy it. Everything tastes homemade and you get plenty.

Overall, the portions were good for the price, fresh, and they gave us cookies for free. Fried Fish only came with 2 pieces, the coleslaw was way too sweet and fries weren't done. My Baked Fish came with 3 big filets, big baked potato and they threw in margarine, sour cream and cheese in individual servings but the green beans were bland.

The "fresh" fruit was canned except for grapes which still had woody stalks attached. The grits were greasy and watery. I paid for four slices of bacon and got 2. The scrambled eggs were stone cold, as was the bacon. The pancakes were okay but the syrup lacked body, like it was diluted.
Lunches from Golden Corral seem pretty good but I won't order breakfast again.

Chicken tenders were more like 3- chicken nuggets that were overcooked hard and tough they went in the garbage along with the 7-tiny fries they sent with it!! Order 6- rolls because they don't give rolls anymore with dinners you order withDD orders the rolls were burnt and hard as a brick, they also went in garbage!!! Carrot cake was supposed to be 3-layers with cream cheese icing, it came as 2- layers laying side by side not ontop of each other and the second layer had no icing on it!! I wonder if the district manager knows what goes on at the Ashland Golden Corral, because the regular manager could care less!!!! This restaurant owes me $12 plus tax, delivery charges and tip!!!!! Awful food and resturant!!!!!!! I would have rated them 0 star but you cant.

We ordered the family Fried Chicken meal along with extra Yeast Rolls . Their fried chicken was hot and crispy...the yeast rolls are probably the best their is. We also ordered the Chocolate Chip Cookies ....oh my!!! Taste like ones my grandma made when I was little!!! This meal is amazing and we order it a lot!!!
