My orders of large Braised Oxtail and Chicken Soup arrived on time. The Dasher sent me pictures of his arrival at Golden Krust and waiting for my orders. Then a picture of outside my building. I appreciated that.
The Chicken Soup was very spicy. Too spicy! It was very overpowering and my dad said that he found a scotch bonnet pepper in the cup. The Braised Oxtail was expensive priced compared to other restaurants, but since it's a Jamaican specialty, we decided to buy from a known Jamaican restaurant. It was tasty, but spicy, as well and not enough meat. The rice and beans was flavorful. All in all, we don't know if we'll buy these meals again if they continue to be so spicy. We like spicy, but when it overpowers the taste, that becomes a problem.

The soup broth was very good. Tasty, just enough spice, well seasoned. I should have ordered the large. A bit sparce on the meat though. Steamed vegetables were tasty and well seasoned but little to no corn in it. The peas and rice were ok.

Ordered saltfish and dumpling. They boiled all of the salt out of the fish and did not add any seasoning to the dough for the dumpling. No taste in the food whatsoever. A complete waste of my money. As a Jamaican, I can say that I would rather eat saltfish and bake from the Trini people. Porridge with consistency of water

Ackee & salt fish has been good, they package the fried dumplings separately so it's not soggy. Presentation decent. Food arrives fast and hot. The fruit cake was not bad either. Will try their dinner meals some soon.
