I am shocked at the reviews. This is my go to place. Actually, the only carribean place I support in the DMV that actually have tender oxtails. The flavor is in every bite. Not to mention when I order cocoa bread or brown stew chicken, everything is fresh and taste good. They have been out of jerk wings lately when I go but they were tasty too. This place had me try curry goat and I been hooked every since. I live in SE so even when I order doordash, my plate looks good, smell good and taste good. These are my people I consider family now because I was giving up when I found out Negril by HU had closed.

$13 for a plate full of rice and 3small pieces of cut a chicken the chicken portion is equivalent to 1 chicken thigh dont waste your money ordering here go to dat jerk restaurant their portion is worth your money and taste better

The Braised Oxtail was delicious. However, the serving size is almost half of what normally is with an increase in price. Whats that about???? Also looked like it was just thrown together without any care. Not cool

The rice and peas, nice and moist. The jerk chicken was good, but it wasn't given jerk chicken. It was given chicken with jerk sauce on it. It still was tender, but it just was not given Jamaican jerk like I thought I would get. The plantains were great.

Food was cold, rice was very dry and stuck together, jerk chicken patty was burned and flat, food was poor quality, very bland and not worth the amount we spent. Will not order from here in the future.
