Gorilla Eats Sushi is a 100% vegan sushi restaurant that is currently located inside of the Aztec Food Hub.
Everything was delicious, don't underestimate the spiciness of The Tiger Roll and Spicy Tuna Roll is my best advice. The
Stuffed Mushroom appetizer was like a mushroom and spicy tuna thing tempura fried good size servings for the price as always.

I absolutely love Gorilla Eats Sushi! I may have already left a review from one of my previous visits. But in case I didn't:
I think I've ordered for delivery from them at least 4 times already this month alone bahhahahahaha. My favorites are the Umami Roll, Kona Roll, Caterpillar roll, and the stuffed mushrooms.
I always tell people to eat the Umami roll first in case the other rolls affect the experience of the umami roll. It is light in flavor but altogether, the ingredients and texture are perfectly put together to hit you at different points. When you first have the piece in your mouth, you'll get that sesame flavor with maybe a hint of salt but as you chew, you get this surprisingly wonderful crisp in the center combined with savory and hint of sweet flavor.
The kona roll is also one of my favs because the slices of lemon as topper is a GAME CHANGER.
Caterpillar roll is also a hit among my friends. It's hard to even tell that any of these rolls are vegan. Everyone that I have introduced these rolls to are shocked that these are vegan because they would not have known if I didn't tell them.
Taeho, if you're seeing this: I ate the stuffed mushrooms on the drive home and HOLY MOLY THEY WERE SO DELICIOUS THAT I ALMOST TURNED BACK AROUND AND ORDERED AGAIN. IF I DIDN'T HAVE OTHER OBLIGATIONS AT HOME I WOULD HAVE DRIVEN BACK. THANK YOUUUUUUUUU

If you’re looking for incredible vegan sushi, Gorilla Eats absolutely delivers. I ordered the Umami Roll vegan roll, and it was nothing short of divine. It instantly reminded me of the amazing sushi I used to have in Downtown Seattle—fresh, flavorful, creative, and made with real care. Every bite was perfectly balanced, and it’s honestly one of the best vegan sushi rolls I’ve had.
I also grabbed the Japanese sparkling drinks in orange and lemon, and they were phenomenal. They have that clean, crisp, lightly sweet flavor that reminds me of the drinks you’d find in Europe. If you know, you know. They paired perfectly with the meal.
I highly recommend Gorilla Eats to anyone, whether you’re vegan or not. The food is exceptional, the flavors are unforgettable, and I’ll definitely be coming back.

We ordered 5 rolls and two sets of nigiri. Unfortunately, one of the rolls didn't get delivered. We had the Umami, Tiger, Rainbow, California roll and the crab and spicy tuna nigiris. We also ordered the Eureka roll which they did not deliver. I was looking forward to that one. Everything was delicious and I really loved their sushi rice. What I didn't like was that you have to pay extra to add any Wasabi or ginger to your order. Otherwise you wouldn't get any. I think if you order sushi, it should come free of charge with every roll. The portion for ginger and wasabi was also pretty small even when you pay for it. If they want to avoid waste, that's great but then just let the customer select if they want ginger or Wasabi but keep it free. I wish they didn't forget the Eureka roll and wouldn't charge for wasabi/ginger but every roll was delicious with the Rainbow probably being my favorite one. I'd order here again!

I ordered the Eureka roll and the Crunchy roll and my GOD that shit was GAAASSS. So good. Excellent portions too. I ordered both and had to quit halfway through them bc I was so full. I haven't had sushi that wasn't an avocado and cucumber roll in ages bc meat, and this place helped me enjoy the wonders of sushi again. Forever thankful and will continue to bother them.
