Dinuguan was perfect. slightly sour, not too runny but not thick either. pig ears should always be in it and this is one of the few places that does that. My mom LOVED the Lomi and said it was the closest to the real deal she's tried in years. The TLT tasted really good. I normally don't like beef tapa because so often it is super chewy like jerky, but this is the only place I know of where that isn't the case. It was my 2nd time having it and I was not disappointed. Def will order from here again and try other items off the menu!

Most definitely a hidden gem of Chula Vista area, I'm Filipino and eating the delicious food at Halo Halo Cafe is just so amazing and fresh and out of this world, real authentic Filipino food right here, the Beef Nilaga Soup taste exactly like how my mom would make it and to add on, the portion is very big and made with love!

Chicken Sotanghon "soup" was more like undercooked noodles with no sauce or flavor..not even salt. I ended up throwing it out...wanted to save my carbs for something worth it. The Crispy Pork Sisig was good but porkbelly was deep fried and kinda hard and dry. Most of the time when I get it elsewhere, its softer/more moist. Don't know what happened? But pancit was good and a very large portion. Beef Mechado was tasty according to hubby. Their food is fairly good. I would order from them again just prob not that soup.

I would not only order again but I'd highly recommend this to both friends & strangers alike. The quality is on point, the taste never disappoints, portions are solid & their Pork Adobo & Longanisa Egg & Rice is amazing! 10/10! So stop reading & ORDER ALREADY!

Very disappointing! The Crispy Pata (Large Size) was 75% bone in which they shouldnt but "Large" Kare-Kare (Beef) Barely had any meat or veggies and we had 2 orders of this! For the price you dont get what you paid for. The only food that was ok was the Lechon Kawali and the Pancit Palabok Deluxe which are still a little pricey for what you get in portion but the flavors are there. Overall I would go somewhere else for Filipino cuisine. For sure our FIRST AND LAST TIME.
