I already know before eating my Chicken Fried Steak and eggs that the eggs are pasture raised, not farm. That's a huge bonus. 2nd, the CFS is the real deal, hand breaded. I haven't taken a bite of anything yet and know this is going to be amazing.

Chicken strips were good, like bar chicken strips which I like. But I paid like $5 dollars for ranch and honey mustard. The ranch is either bottled Hidden Valley or the generic version, which I hate. I was expecting restaurant made ranch, especially since I paid extra. But I saw it was thick and jiggly and knew right away, taste confirmed it. I could have bought a bottle for that price if I wanted. The honey mustard I didnt even want to try. I did though, to give an accurate review. It smelled very unappealing, is semi clear, and seems to be some kind of vinaigrette with whole mustard seeds in it. I don't know if it was an error or this is really their honey mustard but either way it didn't taste like honey mustard and wasn't good. My husband got a burger and it wasn't anything special but it was decent. We paid over $50 for 2 items and I dont think we will eat from here again. It wasn't horrible and it was fast and warm, but it wasn't good either. Dairy Queen would have been cheaper and about the same quality. My 3 stars means neutral. It wasn't good but it wasn't bad (except the sauce was bad). Not worth $20 a plate.

Menu looked promising. Description sounded really good...better than fast food.  Unfortunately,  food was not so good.  Grilled sandwich had a lot of meat but didn't have much flavor.  The meat was all I could really taste.  Jalapeño Cheddar Munchers are poppers.  Those were tasty.  4 PC Chicken Fingers were a hit with one of the kids.  Kids Hot Dog  didn't come with any condiments.  The restaurant should have known to include optional ketchup packets at the very least. They sent a plain hot dog.  Fries were gross. They were thin and shriveled up.  Sweet Tato Fries  filled up an entire styrofoam box by themselves.  They were cooked well and tasted good. We are a large group. Nobody ate the regular fries.  Salad I ordered didn't get added to the order.  Lava Cake was added to the order but not given to the driver.  Doordash refunded it.  Hand Dipped Milkshakes and Root Beer Floats were good.  Kind of hard to do those wrong.  I was impressed that the shakes & floats made it through without melting much.  Driver gets credit for that.

I usually really like harvest depot, and I will say overall it was alright not bad. The bisc and Biscuits & Gravy with Hash Browns (half order) were good but the hashbrowns couldve been a bit more crispy. The bacon on the Breakfast Sandwich On Sourdough with Egg Cheese & Your Choice of Ham, Bacon Or Sausage was a bit limp and some spots were underdone becase it was such a big piece of bacon, my mom ordered it hoping it would be just a sandwich and it was huge she couldnt finish it,  and the Chicken Fried Steak with 2 Eggs, Hash Browns & Toast was alright but a bit floppy and soggy. Short Stack was awesome my 4 year old love them.  

I will say most times when I go though it is good. It really depends on who is cooking that day.

First off the shrimp was perfect which is hard to find out here, and the sauce had just the right amount of kick to acompany the shrimp nicely, the lemonade was just sour enough but not overly done, but by far the best part was the pie. The crust was perfect and even with the icecream on top it take away from it at all, and every bite reminded me of my grandmothers pies. Overall, well worth the prices and definatly somewhere id reconomend to friends and visitors.
