The Madtown Grilled Cheese (VT) was super good. It had so kick cheese on it and the combo with apples and cheese is way better than I ever thought it would be. The Stellar Brownie was good but definitely something you have to be in the mood for as it's super rich. It's also gooey kinda like the middle of the brownie pan when it's not completely done.

Stellar Brownie is definitely not cooked all the way and got literally a half of a scoop of ice cream with it...for almost $9 I'm sorry but that's ridiculous. Steak Frites are dry and don't have a lot of flavor. This is the 4th time I've gotten them and I've been chasing the high of the 1st time ever since because they were so good that one time. Also not enough fries with them in my opinion. Hopcat used to be one of my favorite restaurants in GR idk what happened but it's gone downhill

I love the food at Hopcat. With that said the last couple times we've ordered it has been not put together well, not enough of the topping's and the cheese sauce is $1.75 for a tiny side that is water thin. My Mushroom Swiss barely had any of the garlic aioli on it so was pretty dry. I just have always had good quality food but recently just seems lacking. The Mushroom Swiss has great flavor and tastes like a good smokey mushroom flavor. The Cowboy burger is amazing also. Overall flavors are always there just need quality control.

I've never had issues with HopCat--BUT this time around I have to ask, why did they change how the food is cooked or prepared? The breading around the fish was HUGE compared to the actual fish/meat inside. And the onion rings were hot but very flimsy & greasy not crispy at all.

The Hangover Helper burger is good, love that it comes with a hashbrown patty on it. Really wish it didn't come with pickles on the side though, makes everything soggy and all tastes like pickles. Side Balsamic Brussels were also good, wish they were crispier, but maybe just don't travel well. Biggest issue is the Dr. Pepper - 20oz Fountain Drink, it's maybe 12oz, definitely not 20oz and not worth almost $4.
