The fish was perfection. The hush puppies were slightly sweet but not too much. They seemed like they were made with more flour than other recipes I've tried. They weren't totally my thing because of the bready-ness but everything else was so perfect it didn't matter. Just to clarify, they were still flavorful and good, just different. I happily ate them and would order them again. I just typically favor a hush puppy with a little more cornmeal texture. The fried okra was fresh and so so good. I don't usually like fried okra that I didn't make myself but maybe because it was piping hot and fresh? I'm not sure but it was amazing! Everything was that way! The proportions were big enough to share or save for later. The fish fillets were just as big as pictured. They didn't taste too fishy. They tasted clean. They were seasoned perfectly. No sauce needed. I'll definitely be back.
