This is my first time trying Caribbean Jerk in a veryyy long time. No expert here at all. All I know is this is phenomenal. A new restaurant in Rome to die for as a Rome native. Portion size? Way bigger than you think. That's a MIGHTY mound of Jerk Chicken, the beans and rice, idk how they get so much under still. The flavor is really just super spectacular. The food is hot and super fresh. My cats were trying to eat me for it.
The Sweet Plantain's I know as maduros. Hot, sweet, gooey, chewy, and very crispy on the edges, like my aunt made them.
I ordered the mac and cheese and they were sold out of it, they contacted me for replacement of my food! Didn't cancel or send nothing! Mad props for that! They were persistent too. At least on a Wednesday afternoon.
The price was a bit much for me to swallow per plate, but it's truly worth it for a good healthy bite of food. One plate can easily feed at least maybe one adult and 2 small children if you're on a dime.
