The Singapore Rice Noodle is one of my favorite dishes. Great portions that can easily feed two people. Their Beef Stick (4) and Vegetable Spring Roll (1) are great sides to it. Jiang's Chinese restaurant is definitely my go-to for delivery, dine-in, or take-away.

I usually love jiangs. Recently, I have been disappointed with the quality of their food. I ordered a quart of wonton soup. It had only 2 wontons. I paid about 6 dollars for broth. It's not the first time. I am a loyal customer and it's not as fresh as it used to be for how much they charge.

The 3 Ms of a bad restaurant experience: murky, mushy, and mercenary. The Eggplant with Garlic Sauce was mushy and sweet and seemed to have a LOT of sauce. The Plain Lo Mein slid out of the box as one mass and needed to be chipped apart to get a serving - not a single full noodle came out of the block. Similarly, the General Tso Chicken was just one mushy mass of soggy chicken. the sauce was almost successful here (mild after we asked for extra hot), but the chicken itself felt slimy and the meat tasted totally unsalted. The mercenary bit comes from the fact that this was nearly $70 after tip, and despite our dissatisfaction with our meal, the restaurant had no interest in making it right. I hate to be wasteful and I really hate to whine, but budgets have to stretch far right now and I'd hate for another family to spend their money on something so disappointing.

Unfortunately was a bad order.. I've been ordering from Jiangs for years and have also recommended them to many people... tonight the order was placed through DoorDash but the store delivered my order and left it at my door with no notice, had to call the store to realize they had left it outside with no notice... chicken fried rice is a small amount for $13 and VERY little chicken (which is also dark meat, not like their usual chicken used in other dishes)

Just moved to the area and in search of a go to for crab rangoon and General Tso Chicken. The crab rangoons lacked flavor and were short on filling. Flavor profile for the chicken was not what I was looking for.
Might just be that it's not what I'm used to. Fried rice was good.
