Breading was light and crisp & not oily. Fish inside cooked perfectly, not at all dried out (even good reheated the next day), and had a nice flavor. I don't typically like fish, but I LOVE this fish. The tartar sauce should be a food group on it's own. The coleslaw is the best & hands down my favorite. I won't get slaw in an order from anywhere else as it always has a weird flavour/texture.
Fries were good. Both crispy and soft, but not soggy. Don't know how else to explain it LOL. However, 3 boxes was a waste. And no gravy included?! We ate most of 1 box, but the other 2 were tossed since fries don't reheat very well. I would have preferred 1 box of fries with gravy or at least the option to pick gravy or extra slaw instead of 3 boxes of fries.
*Side Caesar Salad was good. Romaine was fresh & not brown/slimy. Good thing I had dressing at home though, as the 1 little container is not enough for me.
I'd definitely order the food included in the family pack again (plus gravy), but just not the pack itself as the fries were a waste.

*Feature Catch (Halibut) delicious! Best fries anywhere too. The fish and chips are always excellent. I wasn't a fan of the lemon meringue pie (not fresh, small piece for 7.00).

two small pieces of flat fish shaped like pizza slices; they are about as thick as the fries they come with... included: a tiny packet of tartar sauce barely adequate for 1 of these pieces, and a small box of fries oily and soggy... this supposed to be cod, and cost $32. The quality of the food from this place is nothing like I expected. This is by far the worst fish and chips meal I have ever ordered. Never again.

Carrot cake is advertised as cake in a jar, it arrived in a cardboard cup about the size of a small gravy, maybe 3 bites of cake inside. misadvertised, terribly small portion for the price.*Deconstructed Carrot Cake Jar

it's crazy that my favorite fish and chips place is a big store like Joey's, but this one in particular is always INCREDIBLE! we get extra pieces, it's always crunchy, and tasty as hell!!
