I never have complaints. They are always so generous with their portions and accommodating. Love this place one of the few soul food spots in the Bx. Chicken Dinner was amazing n crispy the way I like it. Collard greens n Yams were delicious.

The fried chicken is bussing. Flavorful, crunchy, and cooked to perfection. I cook myself but have never made chicken this good. The red sauce with the chicken is on another level. You have no idea how those two pieces of warm bread underneath that chicken complements this meal.

I came to this place because of a IG food influencer. But I was disappointed. The yams is my favorite. The Mac needed salt, the black eye peas and greens needed more season. I did enjoy the pepper in the greens though. I was hoping for real bbq. The ribs were fried and had no bbq sauce on them. With a Pork Rib Dinner I was given only one bbq sauce. The Chicken Dinner taste like Kennedy chicken spot chicken. The fish was good, it came with two small fish and one medium size one. Also, the Pork Rib Dinner , Chicken Dinner, and Fried Fish Dinner seems to be cooked in same oil. Three stars instead on one--because it is blacked owned. But I always keep it real.

the ribs was good a decent amount for the price.
the mac n cheese the pasta was over cooked and you didn't taste or see no cheese.
the yams were good just had to add some cinnamon for flavor.
I expected a lil more for the price the Mac n cheese and yams

I got 2 slabs of ribs for over $100 and they were dry and burnt so we had to pick thru the one slab. Im very disappointed because the last time I ate here the food was pretty good and they give decent portions, but this time they definitely missed the mark. I'll order one more time since this might be a one off
