I’ve tried bento boxes from many places, but theirs is by far the most affordable and delicious. The combination of purple rice, japchae, broccoli, pickled pink lotus root, vegetable tempura, and a bit of mixed vegetables, all paired with miso soup, makes for an incredibly satisfying meal. Their baby ribs are generously portioned—four pieces—and taste amazing with the sauce. The only downside is that their bento boxes sell out early, so I often miss the chance to get one.

Yes! Their lunch box is really great. As always, I chose the purple rice with grilled pork. I remember selecting the spicy version, but it didn’t taste spicy at all. One thing that was different this time was that there was a piece of tofu added, which I liked. I’m also quite fond of the pink lotus root slices — they’re sweet and sour, really appetizing.
Actually, I have a question: where is the Thousand Island dressing supposed to be used? The pumpkin salad was just a tiny portion, and I didn’t even end up using the dressing.

Every time I have one of their lunch bento boxes, I’m always satisfied and really enjoy the meal. This time, I chose the purple rice with baby back ribs combo. The ribs were large and meaty, and although it was labeled as “soy flavor,” it seemed like they just included a packet of soy sauce on the side. Still, the ribs themselves were tender and flavorful.
Paired with a few side dishes, it actually felt like a very healthy and balanced meal.

The rib bento from JS Kitchen is still really good. I hadn’t had it for a while and really missed it. The purple rice with miso soup, a dumpling, and some vegetable tempura was a nice combo. The three big ribs with sauce were delicious. Aside from being a bit pricey, there’s really nothing to complain about. Thanks!

The lunch box from the restaurant is quite a good value. You can choose healthy purple rice, and for protein, I went with the teppan chicken, which tasted great especially with the teppan sauce. It also came with vegetable tempura, one dumpling, and a small pumpkin salad. However, the side dishes this time were really bland. The other items included two pieces of broccoli and some pink lotus root slices. I finished the meal with miso soup and felt really full.
