This food was sooo good. As I'm eating, the flavor just kept giving and giving. I feel like sometimes restaurants are afraid to season the food. But not this place. This gave soul food with soul food seasoning. I ordered the Cajun shrimp Mac and cheese, very delicious. Also, the fried chicken wing dinner with the yams and rice and peas as my sides. I got a side of jerk sauce and poured it on the rice and peas. Definitely recommend that. The yams were so delicious and the rice and peas wasn't too "peasy". I'm really not the type to leave reviews but I really enjoyed my food I had just to give credit where it was due.

I did not receive the Ginger Pineapple Soda; however, everything was very good. The portion size is plenty. The Fried Whiting, Shrimp, & Chicken Combo was very tasty, it was hot and fresh. The Crabcake Egg Rolls, which I really like, were golden, crispy & delicious! I'm glad that I decided to try this restaurant out again.

This was a much better experience, it was more like our first experience than the more recent ones. Crabcake eggrolls were great, not overcooked or burned. The Fried Whiting, Shrimp, & Chicken Combo comes with plenty of food, enough to share. The Mac and Mac n cheese and Candied yams were good. Everything tasted fresh and well seasoned. I'm glad that we ordered again because this reminded me of why I returned in the first place.

Restaurant didn't have everything on the menu so half of my first order was cancelled. I was a team player and decided to order additional options, that would arrive separately and up to 44 minutes later. I was really hoping to have found a good restaurant that serves the food that I like, all in one place. However, I was completely disappointed in the food that I received. Please refer to photos of: burned/overcooked Crabcake eggrolls, costing $14 for 2, which isn't bad if they're cooked properly and have a decent size portion inside. It didn't taste fresh at all. The Plantains were burned and very oily. My husband liked the Collard Greens Greens. I don't think I'll order from here again.

This was the order made upon the cancellation of an entree in the previous order. The restaurant didn't have shrimp and by the time that I saw DoorDash message, I was already refunded the money for the order. Therefore, I ordered the Ribs & Chicken Comb. The chicken was very dry and didn't taste fresh at all, ribs tasted ok but were small. The mac and Mac n cheese and Candied yams were a decent portion but not tasty. The yams were not sweet and sat in a watery-like juice (photo included). The Mac and cheese was under seasoned, bland and didn't taste right. Undecided on ordering from here again. It's extremely hit or miss, at an expensive risk!!
