BYO Bowl can be as filling or light as needed! Ingredients all tasted fresh. The cauliflower rice was more soft/wet, less firm/fluffy. Herb chicken was super tasty, and portion size was substantial for the price.

The immunity broth is seriously so good. Exactly what I needed at the end of the day in this cold SF weather. The eggplant was sooo good and went perfectly with the paprika chicken. Farmer greens were crunch and fresh, though I would definitely recommend a grain as a base if you are concerned about portion size. Def getting it again to try the mushrooms next time

Loved these roasted vegetable options in the BYO Bowl! Plant patty was also warm, soft, and tasty. I got the chickpea miso dressing, which was decent. Even without the sauce, there's a nice naturally roasted flavor to the ingredients - got brussel sprouts, mushrooms, cauliflower. Very hearty bowl, nice portion size (will save some for later). I would get another BYO Bowl and try different sauces!

I get it, it's expensive, but boy is it worth it!! This feels like perfect nourishing food. I couldn't put all the right flavor profiles together myself so I'm glad kitava exists. Great pork, mushrooms, and pickled onions just to name some highlights. I'll be ordering over and over for sure. The packaging is compostable & more SF guilt free!

The Cumin Beans - Side sure didn't taste like cumin or anything much for that matter. They literally sent a box with ONE LAYER OF BEANS! Literally one layer! I've never seen such a ridiculous portion of food. 4x4 box * a single bean high! Don't bother!
Ginger Squash Curry was a few diced red peppers, a few diced sweet potatoes, white rice, and a little cup of squash curry.
They Kitava Fries were pretty good but arrived cold. The ketchup has an "off" taste.
Beet & Arugula Side Salad The inclusion of coconut yogurt was a miss. It did not compliment the salad; it overwhelmed it. I like to taste my veggies. Omit it.
The Spiced Carrot Muffin (V) smells plenty spicy.
