La Garita Restaurant — Your Puerto Rican spot in Killeen, Texas! We serve authentic Puerto Rican food with that homemade flavor that makes you feel right at home.
Taste just like home! Never had mofongo though and it was the best thing I've ever had. I ordered pickup and it was ready exactly between the wait time that was listed online. Will definitely eat in person next time.

Skirt Steak - Churrasco was very tough and it didn't seem to be very fresh. It was seasoned well and had a nice portion. The salad was kind of old but not so much that I couldn't eat it. Carne Empanadas was very good but small for the price.

Best PuertoRican food you can get in the centran Texas area. The Bistec Encebollado - Cube Steak w/Onions and the Pechuga A La Plancha - Grilled Chicken Breast taste amazing. The food is very flavorful and the portions are great for the price.

Carne Guisada - Beef Stew it was more like stewed beef. No veggies or broth; and super salty. Definitely not enough food for the price. Kids Pollo Frito - Fried Chicken Dry and flavorless
