They are definitely not joking about them being giant tortas! You could easily share one between 2 people. Both the Torta Ranchera / Ranch Style Torta and the Torta al Pastor were huge and fresh. I loved the pastor. I will absolutely be back to try other things on the menu!

6 stars! Ho, I wanted some REAL Mole Poblano / Puebla Style Mole and this exceeded my expectations! This was as good as the best mole i've ever had, unmistakably rich pepper umami bomb and soft and juicy chicken. Ate every little bit of the dish!
And this place has made me love tortas. The Torta La Merced exceeded my expectations, it's a real "show off" dish that demonstrates the chefs are the real deal cause it's like 7 dishes in 1.

Best Mexican I know from Cali to AZ. Have now ordered the Torta La Merced twice now and man it's really good, especially with that fiery salsa. Every component is perfectly cooked, the sausages are good quality and well crisped, soft tasty bread doesn't get easily soggy, impressively thin and crispy bistek and chicken milanese sheets... So many textures and all cooked perfectly, it's a Torta worth bearing a restaurant's name.
I even ordered some gringo Papas Fritas con Tocino y Queso Cheddar / Fries with Bacon and Cheddar Cheese and, surprise surprise, even this mundane appetizer was made exceptionally well with crispy fries, AMPLE real shredded cheddar covering EVERY fry and plenty of real bacon. I have a feeling everything on the menu is outstanding.

Tacos al Pastor were excellent, the usual great salsa, the big lime and cucumber were a nice touch. Burrito Amigo i don't recommend unless you like lettuce in your burritos. It was still pretty good with the salsa but not my style and not as good a deal as some other shtings on the menu.

Outstanding al pastor! Best salsa I've had in my life, perhaps. VERY spicy, but everything is SO flavorful and fresh every single time.
