The store location was hard to locate, surprised that it's not a restaurant. It's a pizza store! The food was great tho, the taste was good. The only compliant is the pasta was way over done. Wished it was more al dente.

Finally great italian food for a decent price! Pasta was delicious, as were the Penne with Italian Cremy Alfredo. Pasta was not overcooked and the sauce was perfectly seasoned. 10/10!! & i order Hot Honey Extra Pepperoni Pie pizza was totally delicious & crunchy. we will def order again!

The portion size is great and the dish is very filling. The only downside is that the marinara sauce is quite spicy, and that wasn’t mentioned in the description. If I had known, I would have ordered something else. If you enjoy spicy food, though, you’ll probably love this dish.

This is, by far, my favorite Rigatoni Bolognese in all of New York City---and bolognese is my favorite meal, so I've tried versions at dozens of restaurants! I can't recommend La Vela enough.

Tried the rigatoni bolognese because there was the buy one get one free deal. Great deal and food was pretty good too for the price.
