Levain is my long-time go-to bakery whenever I want to give a scrumptious gift. I use these delicious cookies as a thank-you gift, hostess gift, I bring them to dinners and cookouts as my contribution, for nurses who look after family.... you get the picture! I travel home to Calif frequently and always bring boxes with me as gifts from my new home here on the East Coast. Unfortunately for me, but great for my friends and family in LA... LA now has a Levain! treat.Everyone near and far LOVES these gigantic cookies.... EVERY flavor! My personal favorites are the seasonal Rocky Road and Lemon cookies, as well as, the chocolate chip w/walnuts and SURPRISE... the oatmeal raisin cookies. I usually don't even like oatmeal raisin, but these are heavenly. I have started to "nibble" at the non-cookie menu, especially to take on a flight. LOVE the whole wheat raisin roll. Perfect with a coffee. You won't be disappointed!

the Banana Chocolate Chip Slice nearly made my wife cry it was so good lol. definitely recommend. the cakes at this place taste like my mother-in-law's desserts. The Lemon Slice is immaculate as well. Tastes a bit like Starbucks but even better. In the words of my uncle, "this is the type of cake you need a glass of milk with." The cookies are BUSSIN as well. Wayyyyyyyy better than crumbl.

I fell in love with Levain Bakery during covid, specifically with the chocolate chip cookies but today I have 2 new favs. The Caramel Coconut Chocolate Chip was elegantly fused with the right amount of sweetest to delight my taste buds. And the Dark Chocolate Chip Cookie speaks for itself and can truly hold its own. I now have 3 favs!!!

Cookies taste good but are basically raw in the middle. Id try this place again but Id try something else that I could warm up without it falling apart and being soggy. The cookies are huge which is a plus. My Oatmeal Raisin Cookie looks like it was almost burnt while still being uncooked in the middle.

Two Chip Chocolate Chip Cookie and Dark Peanut Butter Chip Cookieut Butter are my favorites. The cookies are huge. They're still warm when I get them. They are my go-to bakery for cookies.
