Los Marquez Tacos was founded in 2019 by Rockwall residents Luis and Iliana, we are thrilled to share a taste of our Mexican roots with our Rockwall community.
This amazing meal had an abundant amount of meat, which was seasoned to perfection. Very filling more than you would think. My eyes are always bigger than my stomach. But wait, they are delicious as leftovers, too.

I’ve been here a few times now, and the experience is honestly very inconsistent. The chicken burrito is hit or miss sometimes the chicken is fresh, but other times it’s so overcooked or old that it’s extremely tough and hard to chew.
For $3, the side of rice is never filled to the top, which feels a little unfair for the price. The burrito is supposed to come with rice and beans, but there have been multiple times where they either forgot to include them or only added a very small amount. On top of that, the portion sizes are inconsistent sometimes the burrito is full and satisfying, and other times it’s noticeably smaller for the same price.
Overall, the food *can* taste really good when it’s made fresh, which is why I keep coming back. But the lack of consistency and quality control makes it hard to rely on this place.

Tasty! Well seasoned. The 3 birria tacos were enough for me. I came back for the rice later. It was very good, true Mexican rice. Found a new spot! I will definitely order again. .

The 3 Quesabirria, Rice, and Consommé was phenomenal as usual. Warm and crispy upon delivery and that Consomme? I swear I always catch myself trying to just drink it when im out of the tacos themselves or I'll add my rice to it. The two sauces they give with it the verde and red hot sauce I'll mix in too cause just as wonderful. I wish I could have more of the red sometimes for that very reason . 10/10 every time and I think I order weekly from them at this point lol.

We tried the beef fajitas last night and they were awesome. The meat was very tender and flavorful, and the portion size was enough for two people. Highly recommend! Several people near us were eating the Birria Noodle dish. I think we will try that next time.
