I used to eat at Lubrano’s pretty much every week, and it was always delicious. For whatever reason I haven’t eaten there or ordered from them in ages. I ordered the manicotti and salad tonight, and the taste was still on point. I was shocked, though, by the portion size. It was even in a smaller container and no where near full. It is probably about half of what you used to get several years ago, at least in the restaurant. Their beautiful mixed green salad has been replaced with iceberg, and the dressing I ordered used to be a wonderful sweet vinaigrette. What I got tonight was very dry and bitter tasting. I know food costs and the economy are hurting small restaurants, I totally understand that, but I would rather pay more and get the same quality and same quantity.

The calamari smelled so strongly fishy that we did not eat it. Threw it away. The calzone was huge! Lots of melty cheese but a little skimpy on the ham.

I'm from New York Brooklyn and have been here in N Carolina abouta uear nowand have been looking almost desperately for a good pizza and Finally 2 monthd ago I found this place since finding it Ive order there pizza every week and there philly sandwichand the canolli its all as close to home tastiig as l will get its very very good I don't recommend pizza places here but this one is outstanding and they never get my order wrong and thats impressive too...lol
