Luby's has been a go-to family favorite since my childhood ( a VERY long time ago). Reliably comforting and delicious home-style Southern cooking, still at a great value price. And let's not forget....GREAT DESSERTS. Hubby especially enjoys the liver and onions, and I ALWAYS get the Luby's Fried Fish. So glad this great comfort food restaurant is still viable and nearby - AND NOW DELIVERS!

Everything was so good. Luby's has the to go food down. The Luby's Fried Fish LuAnn was very good. The fish always comes crisp. The black eyed peas are good and they aren't overpowered with bacon flavor.

The Carved Turkey Combo was amazing! The Turkey was juicy and fresh. And you can never go wrong with the Fried Fish LuAnn. I love their fish and tartar sauce. I will definitely be ordering that turkey again soon!

The Liver and Onions Combo was exceptional. It was tender cooked to perfection and had lots of onions. Never think I had it delivered quite that good and it was a healthy proportion! Kudos to the cook!

I gave it 4 instead of 5 because I did not get any lemon or tartar sauce for the fish and I ordered jalapeño cornbread and got no bread at all. The fish was cooked just right and tasted delicious. I also ordered brown gravy which is usually incredible, but I got au jus that tasted like liver. I realize I ordered late in the evening and they probably ran out of brown gravy and maybe the cornbread, but they could have sent a roll. I also ordered carrot and raisin salad and they must have been out of that so they gave me a Mac and cheese. Their Mac and Cheese is a meal itself. It is so cheesy and filling. Really delicious.
