The food was great. I always enjoy the Tonkatsu-D-Box , though they didn't provide any tonkatsu sauce. I tried the Steak side just to see what it was about. It is cubed steak that they use in other dishes. However, it is juicy and delicious. And as always, I love the Gyoza here.

Despite forgetting my side of rice with my Tonkatsu-D-Box (dinner bento), everything else was great. Indeed, this was probably the best food I've ever eaten from Mankeki Sushi. The Tonkatsu-D-Box didn't use a standard "to go" box, but rather did use a Japanese-styled plastic plate, containing the various compartments for the various foods (ergo the term "bento").
What DoorDash doesn't state about this dish is that in addition to the TWO pork cutlets, rice, soup, and a California roll (I got something else, but it was still amazingly good), you also get vegetable tempura and a tempura gyoza piece, which were quite good.
The Shrimp Tempura were done quite well. I really enjoyed the Lobster Roll , which had tempura lobster in it. Good stuff. Finally, the Chicken Tori Bowl is quite good as well. I wish this restaurant had traditional donburi bowls (katsudon, oyakodon, gyudon, etc.), but oh well. The Chicken Tori Bowl-D was quite good and a lot of food.

Food was great as always. The problem is that this is the third time in a row that they've jacked up my order. One of the reasons I don't order here more often (besides the price) is because of this. Granted, DoorDash resolved things financially. But I didn't get my Cowboy Roll. They gave me fried rice instead of steamed rice. I didn't get tonkatsu sauce. It is frustrating since this is the only decent Japanese place around.

Volcano Roll Sorry, ate 3 pieces before pic but oh man it is absolutely wonderful! Everything is amazing, but so glad I gave this a try!
