Cozy spot with a Japanese art deco feel serving sushi & ample plates of teriyaki , noodles & traditional eats.
Udon tempura was delicious in terms of flavor, but I was disappointed that it only came with the udon, onions and carrots (aside from the tempura). I've ordered udon from most of the local Japanese restaurants and they usually include mushroom, seaweed and/or lettuce.
Noodles were also packed together with the broth, so the noodles were already soft/over cooked by the time it arrived.

The California Roll tasted very fishy/old. The salad lettuce seems old and is minimal.The food quality is always good here and worth the money. They give you generous portions. My only minimal. Are to make fresh California roll daily, and to use fresher lettuce with a little more generous portions in the Bento dinners. Fix these recommendations and it will be 4 stars from me.

You can get better sushi literally, anywhere else. I tried this place for the first time and it will be my last. Both the scallop and lion king roll looks so unappetizing and nothing like their pictures. No sauce, no tobiko, no green oninon. And then when you take a bite, it's pure sogginess. But hey, it was nice and warm. Overall, it looked like they didn't actually finish making my sushi or they were in a rush. I looked at other photos and mines is the only one that looks like this so maybe it's a one off. Sucks though. Happy sushi hunting. Also got the dinner plate teriyaki beef with the tempura and gyoza. Everything was packaged separately so tempura was still crunchy. Definitely recommend this.

The Ika salad was absolutely delicious and mild flavor. The unagi bowl had lots of flavor. Food is expensive so this is just a nice treat for dinner.

Consistently my favorite quick, clean sushi restaurant. Benn eating here for over 5 years. Great prices and nice portions. Try the Yakitori and the Chicken Little roll.
