The beams had this bone in them (see pic), gross. The two sets of ribs were dry and we had dried out, overcooked end pieces included. Potato salad was good, Mac n cheese had some burned flakes. For $90 plus delivery and tip it should have been a better meal.

This is our third time ordering from Max. The great smokey bbq flavor is present but the meat quality was just average. We ordered the 2 meat combo, brisket and ribs. The brisket was full of fat. Considering their prices , excessive fat should be trimmed. The babyback ribs tasted like they had been on the bbq too long. Max needs to do better or charge less.....

I love this place, I love their food and barbecue. Yesterday I ordered and beef brisket plate. It came with a full 10 ounces of pure fat I weighed on my food scale because it was excessive

The ST LOUIS RIBS were super small, burnt, and extremely tough to chew. The CORNBREAD was burnt and the POTATO SALAD was flavorless. Would not recommend this place for the price
