FINALLY!!! Feel like it is challenging to find an authentic Italian deli on Long Island. This place hits. Consistently. All ingredients are fresh and portions are rather large. Worth every penny. Aiming to try everything on the menu. And also go there in person as well. If the food travels well through DoorDash, it must be even better when eaten immediately. High highly recommend.

I've lived half a mile for 20 years. I only discovered this place within the past year. Authentic Italian. I crave it and they hit it out of the park.
Lets start with the Salami bread. it is crisp, salty and extremely unique. It is one of a kind and I will order it every time.
The quality of the ingredients is unlike anything I have ever had. Their chicken cutlets are the best I have ever had. Any sandwich with it is phenomenal.
The quality of the sausage was also the best I have ever had.The sausage and peppers are out of this world. The rainbow cookies are delicious as well. I am continuing working through the menu. I haven't ever been disappointed. Big portions, amazing quality, Mercato is the real deal.

Food here is great! This has been our go to place for sandwiches since they opened. We had each of the sandwiches over the years and there's nothing here that is not delicious! The 67th Steet is my most regular order.
