The COMBO POLLO ENTERO/ WHOLE CHICKEN COMBO (GF, LF) was a very good value to feed four people. I had guests over and they would not stop raving about the fried rice. I also really appreciate all of the gluten free options and separate fryer.

Plantains are burnt and you can taste the burnt on it. Meat is rough and inedible. & they didn't even give me my green sauce. All around disappoint. & this Peruvian food is more expensive than the Inka one and it's no better! Would not buy again!

The half chicken was sooo good anf flavorful! the fried was also delicious! and.....the tres leches cup was the perfect size and hit the spot. I really enjoyed the food I it from here.

First of all, I want to say that I really love Mishqui and order from them about a billion times so odds are I'm not going to always have the greatest experience 100% of the time. I will definitely be ordering from them again... i just happened to have a negative experience last 2 times. Also, I am not a fan of Door Dash's new rating system using thumbs up or thumbs down. It's too black and white when overall, my experience tonight was more like 3.5 stars vs a full on thumbs down AND the "issues" it lists to choose from are very limited and had absolutely nothing to do with the issues i experienced so thats pretty dumb but obviously thats not mishqui's fault at all!! So what can i do?
Anyhow so Ive had the TALLARINES VERDES/ PESTO FETTUCCINE (GF option available) at least a half dozen times and it used to be one of the best pestos ive ever had but ever since ive been having it ordered from the newer King St. location, I dont know if they use a different recipe or what but last 2 times it has tasted like rotten milk. Did they always put milk in it?? I dont know... it's just been awful and i had to toss after just a couple bites (i hate milk and it really tasted like spoiled milk). Maybe they added a really pungent cheese??? I dont know. It's also been a bit of a shame that I can no longer choose which location to order from. I miss a couple of the desserts that they seem to only do at the Monona location
At least they finally sent along the amazing verde cilantro sauce and spicy red sauce that they had been failing to send whenever I order either the PAPAS FRITAS/ HOUSE-CUT FRIES (GF, VG) or emanadas. But I did have to call to request them from the new location which was annoying .
I still really enjoy the empanadas, the fried rice and some other dishes. I just hope if they changed the TALLARINES VERDES/ PESTO FETTUCCINE (G F option available) recipe that they'll list the changed ingredients on menu...
They're still an amazing restaurant!!
