Nicholas is one of my oldest standbys. I've never noticed anything even slightly off. Very consistent product for the 20 years I've been going here on the recommendation from a good vegan friend of mine who loves the falafel.
I don't usually write reviews, but I came back just to report how flavorful and tender my chicken kabab is. I usually get the falafel, gyro, kofta or lamb, but today I saw several reviews on here complaining about dry chicken supposedly was for them, and I knew that it couldn't be true, so I ordered the chicken just to prove it to everyone. I've had all the other Mediterranean cuisine in town, and Nicholas and their sister restaurant, Ya Halla, are among the best.

I love Nicholas and I ordered the Nicholas Chicken to try something new and it was awful. It's maybe half a chicken breast worth of protein that is so chewy and flavorless on top of a cup of rice. The regular kabobs are so good so this was a huge disappointment and waste of money. The texture on the chicken was so off that I didn't eat the meal.

The chicken thigh bowl was chicken breast and not thighs. Only 4 pieces of chicken for a lunch bowl more than $12. Chicken Schwarma bowl was 90% rice and the meat was gray. Pita came in plastic bags which made them wet and soggy upon arrival. Trader Joe's frozen food is better than this place, and even bigger portions if you can believe it! If I could return this meal I would.

Delicious and good value for portion size of protein. Unlike other places, I didn't need to order extra pita or sauces. Expectations met and exceeded.

The Baba Ghanoush is a must order for me and the Blended Mango Lassi is the perfect cooldown for their spicy harissa sauce (comes with the Zaatar Fries). Love the chicken Shawarma Plate & the hummus and slaw. I only wish I got more Falafel Balls because I have no leftovers. The green tahini sauce that comes with rocks. Always tastes super fresh.
