I have been going to NYPD on Camelback Rd in Phoenix since it's opening night (25 years ago!). It has maintained its great food and friendly service since. As a native New Yorker, I love (and am very critical of) Italian food. Their calzones (Frank Sinatra or Al Capone) are the best in town. Hot, big & flavorful

Called ahead to ask if we could get the meatballs out in separate containers, they did so and did not sound annoyed and were very kind. Food is fantastic and portions are great. The Garlic Knots are unrivaled and their marinara is very good.

Pizza was delicious and still hot when we got it, ingredients were fresh and delicious! Would definitely recommend and will get again! We didn't get it this time but their fried mozzarella and the balsamic sauce it comes with is chefs kiss!!!
