Listen here, you mozzarella-moonlight marauders and garlic-butter bandits — Percival Toadwell Van Bristow has taken a twirl through the scarlet-and-green parlor of Papa John’s Pizza, and I emerged with flour on my cuffs and victory in my heart.
I ordered the classic large cheese, because when a gentleman courts a pie, he does not hide behind toppings. The crust arrived bronzed like a Riviera vacationer — tender within, just enough chew to let you know it has backbone. The sauce? Sweet with a wink, tangy with a handshake. It does not shout; it croons. The mozzarella lay across the surface in a glossy blanket, stretching in elegant ribbons with each pull, as if reluctant to leave the dance floor.
And then — oh, then — the garlic dipping sauce. That little golden chalice of indulgence. Butter-rich, salty, perfumed with garlic like a speakeasy whisper. A crust corner dipped therein becomes a scandal worth repeating.
Portion? Generous. Freshness? Bright as a brass section at midnight. Consistency? Steady as a bass line. It is not artisan wood-fired poetry from a Neapolitan mountaintop — no, no. It is American pizza bravado. It knows what it is. It arrives hot. It satisfies with gusto. And sometimes, my friends, that is precisely the tune one wishes to hear.
Would I indulge again? Like a saxophone returning to its solo, absolutely.
Four and a half stars, with a respectful nod to the pie’s unapologetic charm.
Until we eat again,
Percival Toadwell Van Bristow

Excellent service, highly awaited return to our area. My choice is always Papa first. Thanks to the new owners. Never had an issue with a Papa pizza. This store's menu is extensive.

Both 10" and 14" had a certain taste as of maybe going bad or crust was contaminated with something or sauce pepperoni where fine tho just pizza it's self...all I'm saying is there was a particular taste throughout the 2 slices each of my family had.

Not much toppings, really. It's all cheese, and tastes quite bland.
